OnePlus Pad Price and Configurations in India

The OnePlus Pad is available in a single finish called Halo Green, showcasing OnePlus's commitment to aesthetics. However, customers have the luxury of choosing from different configuration options. The base model offers 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, priced at Rs. 37,999. Alternatively, one can opt for the second variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, available at Rs. 39,999. To truly maximize the user experience, I would recommend going for the top-end model.

Design and Accessories of the OnePlus Pad

OnePlus has always stood out for its unique and distinctive design language, primarily characterized by rounded edges, apart from the OnePlus 10R 5G. The OnePlus Pad adheres to this design philosophy, setting it apart from other tablets available in India.

The tablet flaunts a premium metal unibody design, exuding elegance and sophistication. Despite its slim profile of just 6.5mm, the OnePlus Pad feels remarkably robust and sturdy, with no signs of flex or creaking sounds, even under pressure.

However, it is worth noting that the tablet has a slightly heavier weight of 552g during regular usage or when held with one hand for browsing. Personally, I found it more comfortable to use the tablet while sitting on the couch or placing it on a table, especially when utilizing the keyboard accessory (sold separately). The back of the tablet features a finely etched texture, giving it a distinct appearance. However, this texture tends to attract smudges, which can be a tad challenging to wipe off. Fortunately, OnePlus offers two optional cover accessories to keep the rear surface protected and clean at all times.

OnePlus has put great emphasis on providing a user-friendly design. The rounded sides of the OnePlus Pad ensure a comfortable grip, setting it apart from tablets with flat sides and corners that can be uncomfortable to hold for extended periods. The top middle section of the tablet houses the magnetic connector for the OnePlus Stylo accessory, while the bottom features three flat pins used to power and connect the keyboard accessory.

While the tablet's edges boast a rounded treatment, the display glass seamlessly integrates with the frame, offering a smooth and enjoyable experience when performing swipe gestures near the edges. Although the display glass is prone to smudges, they can be effortlessly wiped off, ensuring a clear view at all times.

The OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard: An Essential Accessory

Speaking of accessories, the OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard proves to be an essential add-on for the OnePlus Pad. Priced at Rs. 7,999 in India, it is a testament to OnePlus's commitment to top-notch build quality. The keyboard boasts a grippy faux-leather texture on both the front and rear panels, providing a premium feel. It connects and draws power through three pins, requiring a physical connection to the tablet as it does not support wireless connectivity via Bluetooth.

The keys on the Magnetic Keyboard offer good travel and produce a satisfying tactile feedback, ensuring confident and mostly error-free typing. However, it is worth mentioning that they do require slightly more force, which may lead to hand fatigue during extended typing sessions. Despite its compact layout, the keyboard is surprisingly easy to adapt to, making it a valuable companion for productivity tasks.

Further more, the keyboard features a function key that, when combined with other shortcuts, enhances the overall user experience and productivity.
